CALCIUM CHLORIDE
Calcium chloride is an inorganic compound, a salt with the chemical formula CaCl₂. It is a white crystalline solid at room temperature, and it is highly soluble in water. It can be created by neutralising hydrochloric acid with calcium hydroxide.

This compound was first discovered in 1808 by Humphry Davy. Since then, its production has increased significantly due to its many uses. The main elements that make up calcium chloride are calcium and chlorine, but other elements such as sodium and magnesium can also be present in small amounts.
